Contribute

We invite you to support the Christ-centered care and support of Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS), a ministry serving Missouri children since 1914. Your generous contribution will support our five core programs: Foster Care Case Management, Therapeutic Mentoring, Family Solutions for Kids, Transitional Living, and Residential Treatment. Thank you for helping us serve over 2,000 children and families in 2016!

Donate to Missouri Children in Need

Annual Gifts
Annual gifts enable us to provide all of the things children need. The funds we receive from the State of Missouri provide 50% of our cost, therefore we greatly rely upon the generosity and kindness of our donors to fund the balance needed for our continuum of services to be provided.

Capital Gifts
You are invited to consider a capital gift to help fund the acquisition of a building or equipment necessary to achieve our programmatic goals, such as replacing worn furniture or appliances, vehicles to be used in transporting the children to school and after-school activities, and paying for upgrades of rooms in one of our children’s homes. If you are interested in funding a capital project please contact the development staff member in your area. In some cases we have naming opportunities available to honor or memorialize a loved one.

Endowment Gifts
Our endowment provides us with a firm foundation for long-term planning. You may donate a gift to our general endowment or establish a named endowment. In both cases, Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services will use the earnings of the investment to fund its annual programs of care and support. The amount PCHAS spends each year is approved by its Board of Trustees.

Estate Planning
Estate planning comes from the faith-filled desire to impact children’s lives in far-reaching ways. A planned gift can assure your own involvement in changing lives for generations to come. Learn more about Planned Giving.

Youth Opportunities Tax Credit Program Gifts
Through the unique Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, individual and corporate donors with Missouri tax liability may receive tax credits to organizations like ours who provide positive youth development programs. Gifts of $500 or more qualify. Learn more.
